It went great! Joanna is very personable and kind and accommodating to our schedule. She responded quickly over phone and email and was always there to answer our questions. Joanna even worked with us to help us close on our house when she was out of town on vacation. She didn't have to do that, but went above and beyond to make sure we didn't lose out on the house that we wanted. From the first time we talked with Joanna she was helpful and made us feel comfortable working with her. She has a lot of experience and it shows. She took us to view all the homes we requested and when we decided to put an offer on a house she worked with us and the other relator and helped us negotiate the price to get a price that we were happy with and felt was fair. Joanna was our real estate agent. She talked with us to determine everything we wanted and needed in a home to buy, created us an account that sent us emails with only homes that matched our requirements and took us to see all the homes that we requested to view. Both my mother and I worked with Joanna to purchase homes during the spring of 2016. My mom was looking in St. Charles, MO while I was looking in St. Louis, MO. Both of us were very impressed with Joanna’s performance throughout the home purchasing process.

First, Joanna is highly professional, exhibiting a high degree of knowledge and dedication to her work. She showed my mom homes during the weekend and ensured that no time was wasted looking either at homes that did not meet my mom’s specifications or at undesired locations. Joanna also worked with my tight schedule to so I could accompany my mom at the viewings. With both of our home searches, Joanna provided detailed information and researched questions to which she did not have an immediate answer.

Second, Joanna was very timely in responding to both my mom and I. If we had questions or concerns, we could text/call/email her and receive a response within a few hours. This is much better than what I consider professional business etiquette, which is a response within 24 hours during a standard work week. Joanna responded just as quickly after work hours and during the weekend. Overall, her communication was highly impressive considering the number of texts/calls/emails Joanna received from my mom and I.

Third, Joanna provided services after the sale of both homes. My mom had an issue after purchasing that was a loophole in the contractual agreement between my mom and the seller and my mom and the condominium association. Joanna sent several hours resolving this issue, including seeking additional legal information, from which my mom benefited. Regarding my purchase, I had a few items unaddressed in my inspection report that the seller agreed to fix. Joanna helped my facilitated getting the items addressed.

Fourth, Joanna made both my mom and I feel comfortable throughout the home-buying experience. She was not pushy and did not rush us at viewings. Furthermore, she was very honest in giving her opinions about the various homes we viewed.

Overall, both my mom and I had a very positive experience with Joanna and absolutely no negative experiences regarding her performance. Both of us would highly recommend Joanna to others looking for homes in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
