Nutcracker Tea Party – Dec. 10 2 to 4 pm
Join the festivities at the Foundry Art Center located at 520 N. Main Street, St. Charles. Parents and kids can enjoy an elegant tea party, light luncheon which includes sandwiches and desserts along with special holiday inspired teas and hot cocoa from Olde Town Spice Shoppe. Enjoy a performance by the Dance Project of St. Louis with Common Thread Contemporary Dance.

Christmas Dance – Benefit Backstoppers – Dec 9
The Galaxies Band presents a Christmas Dance. Benefiting the Backstopperss on Sat. Dec. 9 from 7 pm to 10 pm at the American Legion Post 312 (1500 Raymond Avenue, St. Charles. Admission is $15 per person and includes beer and soda. There will be a 50/50 drawing. Music provided by The Galaxies – an R & B and Motown horn band which plays hits from the 60’s.
Bring you your dancing shoes, have a great time, and help support Backstoppers who help out families of fallen First Responders.

Relax and enjoy The Gateway Ringers as the present their annual handbell Musical Christmas program – Light in Darkness – A Medieval Christmas. 7:30 pm Friday December 8 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 8945 Veterans Memorial Parkway in O’Fallon. The program features carols from the Middle Ages including “The Cherry Tree Carol”, “Good King Wenceslas”, I Saw Three Ships”, and “Coventry Carol”.

Description:FBI statistics show that “active shooter” incidents have increased steadily over the past 15 years. Would you know what to do in an active shooter situation?
Survivors of recent attacks credit active shooter response training for knowing exactly what to do. This free St. Peters Police Department program will discuss the history of active shooters, current events and some of the reasons behind the shootings, and explain what to do if faced with this situation.
Teens 16 and under must be accompanied by a guardian.
